Description
The Champagne has a luminous, fairly fluid raspberry-pink colour with deep, pale orange-pink highlights in the glass. It is enlivened by fine, lively bubbles that feed a persistent collar. The visual impression is of a fresh, nuanced wine.
The first nose is seductive. It evokes scents of strawberry, raspberry, rose, carnation and apricot. When aired, it reveals notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, sweet spices, apple, redcurrant and pomelo.
The approach on the palate is supple and fresh, with a creamy, mellow effervescence. The Champagne develops a luscious, fruity body, underpinned by pomelo acidity. The mid-palate is orchestrated around a chalky minerality that confers great elegance, a fine grain and carries the fruity richness in a creamy texture. The fresh citrus and pulpy fruit on the finish expresses great delicacy, with a sensation of harmony and finesse.
